TCC launches three bachelor’s degree programs and scholarship opportunities

Tallahassee Community College has announced the addition of three new bachelor's degree programs to prepare students for careers in high-demand fields. The Bachelor of Applied Science in Business Administration, Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, and Bachelor of Science in Exceptional Student Education will launch in August 2023 and are accepting applications now. President Jim Murdaugh has been awarded the Shirley B. Gordon Award of Distinction by Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society. The award was presented at PTK Catalyst 2023, the Society’s annual convention in Columbus, Ohio. The Shirley B. Gordon Award is PTK’s most prestigious award for community college presidents and is named in honor of the late Dr. Shirley B. Gordon, PTK’s longest-serving Board of Directors Chair and a founder and long-time president of Highline Community College in Washington. Read More

Ten members of TCC’s Forensics Team brought home three team sweepstakes awards and 11 individual awards from the Phi Rho Pi National Tournament held in Washington, D.C. from April 10 through 15.
